a world without clocks...the concept of time

i stand near the metro platform and watch people run from one train to another.i think again, had the metro not been there these people would have been spending hours in bus/cars etc and jams. a metro saved so much time and people are still running .then i look at the frequency of train and realize that the next train is hardly 5 mins later. still people are running all the way.
not all the people can be missing their exams by 5 mins. neways i just stand aside and watch people run.i see a cafe and head straight - i also come to know that in two hours time, my ticket will be null and void. the coffee is now a little too hot for comfort. i just think if i am a little out of tune with the times . don't mistake m all of 25 and consider my self as kind of aggressive.Guess i don't understand the current tune.

There goes a Greek fable/myth/story (take ur pick). there used to be a God of good times and a God of all times.
Ok before i tell any further, think what would happen if we had a God of good times.
only what happens good would pass as time for all the rest time will stop. you dont have to live your full time bound by that little tweaking time on your hand. your boss will not have to specific time lines. you wont have bear or pass substandard output because of time lines. each individual develops his own time , his own sense of time. he is surrounded by his own envelope, he takes his own sweet time to develop his perceptions, his meaning, occasionally listening to ppl who ask him to hurry up. your time with your girlfriend never ends, except that occasional sunset.
is sun and moon a part of this global time package. i say no because they always allow you ur sense of time. a sunshine , a dawn break. you stood there for some time -- to let the sunshine seep into you. thats pretty personal.
but man if you stood there from 6 to 6.30 , you have committed to system that followed across boundaries. you girlfriend will come at 5 because she has to by the bus at 6.30. your assignment must be completed by 7 because ur boss has to sent it to his boss by 9 and he will take 30 mins to check the draft and suggest changes for which you might need another 30 mins and its always useful to work with half an hour of buffer.think of it , a clock is the biggest self imposed boundary on man.

coming back to time as time is. but lemme first complete the story for you.
the god of all times killed the god of good times.
so here we are surrounded by the unidimensional element. only goes forward. n will not stop for any of us.

but leave the greeks with their god killing god thing. who created these all important and all imposing time efficient fundas.
i don't really know but if i have a really good mind to blame i will blame the Japanese for killing the god of good times on a global scale. on a personal scale we have killing our individual gods every time we are valuing success over happiness and efficiency over joy.

well i would just try to spend tomorrow without my watch and try to enjoi my day a little more!
